Project Overview: Skoolie Foundation's Land Preservation Project is dedicated to acquiring or leasing land to support our mobile shelter programs and provide a sanctuary for holistic therapy. This initiative aims to create temporary mobile shelter sites, long-term shelter sites, and outdoor camping areas. The project will also incorporate Native American traditions and renewable energy practices to ensure environmental sustainability and cultural enrichment.
Secure Land: Acquire or lease land suitable for mobile shelters, long-term shelters, and outdoor camping sites.
Mobile Shelter Programs: Provide temporary and long-term shelters for individuals in need, including outdoor camping sites for those seeking to reconnect with nature.
Holistic Therapy Services: Offer a range of therapeutic practices, including mindfulness, meditation, art therapy, and traditional healing practices.
Cultural Enrichment: Incorporate Native American traditions such as drum circles and cultural history lessons.
Sustainability: Use only solar power and well water when available, with a goal of achieving renewable energy and resource sustainability.
Greenhouse Skoolies: Establish greenhouse skoolies at each site to provide year-round vegetable availability and promote sustainability.

All staff members are volunteers with extensive experience and commitment to their roles. Staff substitutions will require prior approval from COMMERCE to ensure continuity and project integrity.
