Skoolie Bags of Hope Initiative - Nourishing Lives, Building Hope
Welcome to Skoolie Foundation's Skoolie Bags of Hope initiative!
Overview
Skoolie Bags of Hope is our heartfelt project dedicated to providing bag lunches to individuals facing challenges within our community. Our mission is to serve 100 meals each month, reaching those in need through the collaborative efforts of dedicated teams. From delivering to the Tacoma Rescue Mission to individual distributions, we are committed to making a difference, one Bag of Hope at a time.
How You Can Help
Your support is crucial to the success of this initiative. A $100 monthly donation empowers us to provide 50 meals, with each nutritious package costing just $2. By contributing, you play a vital role in our fight against hunger, helping us make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
Meal Composition
For just $2, each Skoolie Bag of Hope includes a PB&J fresh sandwich, a fresh fruit (apple or orange), a protein bar, and a candy. These thoughtfully curated meals aim to provide not only sustenance but also a sense of care and consideration.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Beyond financial support, we invite sponsors to be an integral part of this initiative. Sponsors will have the opportunity to include a flyer in each Skoolie Bag of Hope. This flyer will be divided into three sections, offering valuable resources such as food assistance, shelter information, VA details for veterans, resources for minors, and a suicide prevention helpline. The middle section will convey a personal and heartfelt message, while the bottom will recognize and list community members who contributed to that month's project. It's an excellent opportunity to showcase your commitment to community welfare.
Impact and Recognition
Skoolie Bags of Hope not only addresses hunger but also serves as a beacon of hope for individuals in need. Your support will be prominently recognized on our website, social media channels, and newsletters, amplifying your positive impact on the community.
