Program Features
Mobile Shelter Solutions:
Our program features mobile shelters housed in Skoolie Buses and Tiny Homes, offering a dignified and comfortable space for individuals and families in need. These shelters are designed to provide a secure haven for those experiencing homelessness. Our services are on a day to basis as we create a safe sleeping are for individuals and families within our communities.
Nightly Shelter Services:
The heart of our initiative lies in offering nightly shelter services. Our mobile shelters are available every night, providing a safe and warm environment for community members to rest and recharge.
Tiny Home Program:
Complementing our Skoolie Bus initiative, our Tiny Home Program focuses on constructing small, sustainable homes for individuals and families facing housing instability. These homes are designed to be cozy, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. Everyone of our mobile tiny homes are available on a scheduled use to only for recipients who have been approved by a safety screening process.
Strategic Partner Locations:
We work closely with partner locations strategically chosen to maximize our outreach. These partnerships enable us to establish our mobile shelters in areas where the need is greatest, ensuring that our services reach those who need them the most. we will also
Private Mobile facility Locations:
We have compassionate individuals, on their private property, who have chosen to lease a portion of their land to Skoolie Foundation. The purpose of this lease is to provide a nightly parking space for a mobile tiny home operated by the Skoolie Foundation. This thoughtful initiative aims to offer shelter to less fortunate members of the community who are in need of a secure and comfortable place to stay. The private property owner's generosity is instrumental in supporting our mission to address homelessness on a nightly basis, providing a safe haven for those facing housing instability within the community.
Tailored Support for Specific Groups:
Children: Our program ensures that children have a safe and nurturing environment, promoting their well-being and development.
Veterans: We provide specialized support for veterans, recognizing and addressing the unique challenges they may face in transitioning to stable housing.
Domestic Violence Victims: Our shelters offer a confidential and secure refuge for individuals escaping domestic violence situations.
Emergency Situations: Swift response and temporary shelter services for individuals facing immediate crises.
Families: We understand that the shelters can separate families as can camps. With our mobile abilities it is our intention to provide a safe space for families to get a good night sleep without worry of separation or compromise.

Beyond providing shelter, our program is committed to empowering individuals to rebuild their lives. We offer resources for education, job training, and other essential services to help community members achieve long-term stability.
